My Story

From a young age, I was deeply drawn to understanding the human mind, fascinated by the potential of psychology to bring about true change in people’s lives. My career in psychology was built on this foundation—on the idea that mental health isn’t just about managing symptoms, but about unlocking a person’s full potential to lead a life of fulfilment and resilience.

After intensive training in applied clinical psychology from India, I started working as a counsellor before moving to UK. When I moved to UK, I had to rebuild by career and in doing so, I started working as a recruiter for few years. In my experience, recruitment is much more than filling positions—it's about finding the right match between a person and a role, fostering environments where both individuals and companies can thrive. I was eventually finding my foot in the ground. But life doesn’t always go as planned.

Life can test us in ways we never anticipate. For me, the journey began when a severe health challenge forced me to confront my own limits. My mind was constantly racing, and I felt the weight of every anxious thought as I struggled to navigate treatments, recovery, and family. Around the same time, I was raising my twins, who were my world but also my greatest challenge. Raising twins while managing a health crisis was a whirlwind I hadn’t expected. I had always valued my psychology background, but I now found myself needing tools beyond what I had learned—tools that could address both the mind and body as I sought relief from overwhelming stress.

This quest for healing led me to hypnotherapy. With each session, I experienced a profound calm that felt like a reset, not just of my mind but of my entire perspective. Hypnotherapy empowered me to tap into my own resilience and strength. With my background in psychology, I understood the science behind my healing. But more than that, I felt it. I saw firsthand how mental resilience could be built layer by layer, breath by breath. This transformative journey rekindled my passion for mental health, and I knew I wanted to give back as a therapist myself.

Today, as a Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist, I feel honoured to support others on their path to healing, especially those navigating stress, life’s unexpected challenges, or mental health struggles. I aim to provide my clients with a holistic approach to healing and transformation. I’m here not only because I understand the science of mental health, but because I’ve lived through the very struggles, I help my clients overcome. And now, I’m driven more than ever to make a positive impact, supporting each person who walks into my practice as they take those transformative steps forward. For me, hypnotherapy isn’t just a career; it’s a mission. It’s about helping people find peace in the chaos, to reconnect with themselves, and to remember that no matter how hard life gets, there’s always a way to heal and thrive.
